Anyway, if you could take a look at the image below, and give your opinion on the layout, colours, etc. Is it too garish, are the fonts too difficult to read, which set of yellow text to your prefer, etc. I'll be putting the image attributions underneath the smaller image (on the green background.)

It's bright, but I like it!! Give it a go...you can always change it again!
Thanks, Jeanne, for your comment. I was going for bright. Actually, I started off with the concept of an iris - the bright purple petals, yellow stamens, and green leaves, but ended up with pink, green, and yellow, with a little purple accent. I might tinker (again) with this site. Or not.
I love the color combo, but the font on the quote (one of my favorite quotes, by the way) is a little hard to read.
