Mum arrived this afternoon to pick up the cousins, and the first thing Beth said when she went out to help was "Grandma's been to a garage sale!" Hmm... Nothing new with that. Mum often goes to garage sales, and is now under strict instructions - no more teapots! The entire top shelf of my Dining Room display (2 shelves, about 3m long) is devoted to drink sets. I have 7 drink sets, only one of which is not a tea/coffee set. But I digress.
The next thing Beth said was, "And she's bought some bookshelves." Bless the woman! She knows what I need :)
Hubby only just commmented last night how my bookcase had space on it. Now he has no excuse.
That is so tilted! It's not like that in real life, honest.
As for my new bookcase, I'm not quite sure what I'll do with it. It fits in perfectly where it is now, but I may need it in the other room.

Hey, isn't that next to your bookcase...the one that needs filling up? Leave it there - then you can fill it too without feeling guilty in the least!!

Yep, we each got one. The wonky-looking one (ie, the black one) is his. Now he has two, mine becomes 'no-touchy'.
I absolutely love garage sale finds. I can't wait until summer so I can start hitting those sales too!
